At Java Advisor, we’re always interested in feeling great and living our best life. It’s why we started a coffee and caffeine company – we wanted to share all the great coffees we’ve found, and we love.

Caffeine plays a significant role in our everyday lives and helps us every step of the way – but what about something like CBD?

CBD is not an acronym; it’s just a shorter way to write or say cannabinoid. Cannabinoid is extracted from marijuana or cannabis. It’s actually a more preferred way to get the health benefits of marijuana without some of the weird feelings (or illegally activity, ha!) that’s associated with marijuana usage.

Unlike THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) which is the psychoactive (gives you the high feeling) ingredient in marijuana (cannabis sativa) – CBD is a compound that has a super-similar chemical make-up (C₂₁H₃₀O₂) to THC but without the effects of the psychoactive or the even the adverse effects of the psychoactive (THC).


CBD or cannabinoid oils can have really great health benefits. CBD oils can help with PTSD, anxiety, and depression. They’re also great with helping with pain management, and inflammation.


The incredible benefits of CBD oil don’t stop there, there’s real-world usage out there, and it’s honestly saving lives - you can even find CBD oil in a breakthrough drug called Epidiolox which is used to treat pediatric epilepsy effectively.

We already use caffeine every day to help us through the day, and to help with our focus, and mood – why stop there when we can get even more natural health benefits from CBD?

While more testing and studies are needed for the definitive facts about CBD, one thing is for sure – it is genuinely already helping people in a big way – and it could very well be more than a trend – but a way of really enhancing our lives in small and significant ways.
